Every INZU piece is handcrafted by a skilled Rwandan artisan — no two are identical. We want you to love your purchase, and we've designed our returns process to be fair, transparent, and respectful of the extraordinary care that goes into each item.

01 — Our Commitment

We Want You to Love Your INZU Piece

We understand that purchasing handmade furniture and décor online requires a degree of trust. While we invest in detailed photography and honest product descriptions to help you choose with confidence, we acknowledge that aesthetics are personal — and we will accept returns if a piece simply isn't right for your space.

02 — Return Eligibility

What We Accept

We accept returns on items that are returned in their original, undamaged, resaleable condition. Because every INZU item is photographed in detail prior to shipment, we are able to assess the condition of each returned piece against its pre-shipment record.

A return will be accepted if all of the following conditions are met:

  1. You contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to initiate a return.
  2. The item is unused and free from any damage, staining, or alteration.
  3. The item can be restocked and resold as new — exactly as it left our hands.
  4. The item is securely repacked to prevent damage in transit.

We are unable to accept returns on items that show signs of use, damage sustained after delivery, or that cannot be restocked and resold in new condition. We hold this standard not out of rigidity, but out of respect for the artisan whose work lives in each piece.

03 — Return Shipping

Shipping Costs

Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend using a trackable, insured shipping service, as INZU Designs cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit during a return.

Please contact us before sending anything back so we can provide the correct return address and ensure your return is logged in our system.

04 — Refunds

How Refunds Work

Once your return is received, our team will carefully inspect the item and compare it against its pre-shipment photographs. You can expect to hear from us within 5 business days of receipt.

If the return is approved, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow up to 7 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your payment provider.

If, upon inspection, we determine that the item cannot be restocked and resold as new, we will notify you and a refund will not be issued. In this case, you have the option to have the item shipped back to you at your own expense. Items not reclaimed within 30 days of notification may be donated or otherwise disposed of.

05 — Damaged or Incorrect Items

Arrived Damaged or Not as Described?

If your item arrives damaged or is not as described on our website, please photograph the damage and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will work with you to arrange a resolution.

06 — How to Begin a Return

Starting the Process

  1. Email us at info@inzudesigns.com with your order number and the reason for your return.
  2. Our team will respond within 2–3 business days with return instructions and the return address.
  3. Pack your item carefully and ship it using a trackable service. Share the tracking number with us once dispatched.
  4. Upon receipt and inspection, we will confirm the outcome of your return by email.
